Paella in Cala Major

Where to eat paella in Cala Major

Looking for a proper homemade paella near Cala Major beach? At Calypso we have been cooking it to order since 2015. You will find us at Avinguda Joan Miró 273, the main street of the neighbourhood, a two-minute walk from the beach and ten minutes by car from the centre of Palma.

Six homemade paellas, cooked to order

There are six paellas on the menu: seafood, shelled seafood (no work needed), black squid-ink paella, black paella with octopus and seafood, pork-and-chicken and vegetable. All of them are made fresh with rice and fresh seafood, which is why they take 25-30 minutes. Prices are for two people (€38 to €55) and each extra person adds €20.

Paella after the beach

Most of our guests come straight from Cala Major beach. Sit on one of our three outdoor terraces or inside with air conditioning, and order some tapas to share while the paella cooks: garlic prawns, fried squid rings or padrón peppers.

Opening hours and booking

The kitchen is open non-stop from 12:00 to 23:30, Tuesday to Sunday, March to October. At weekends and in summer we recommend booking, especially for the terrace: it takes a minute online, or call +34 971 863 685.
