Who we are

An Argentine family in Cala Major

We opened Calypso in 2015 full of hope. We are an Argentine family, Cristian, Pepe and Sabrina, with all our loved ones, family and friends, behind us from day one.

We grew, we learned, we got through the pandemic and every obstacle since with the same spirit: honest cooking, generous portions and three terraces where nobody is in a hurry.

And here we still are, every season, waiting for you steps from the beach.

Before you come

Are the paellas homemade?

Yes. All our paellas are homemade and cooked to order, so they take around 25-30 minutes. Worth the wait.

Do I need to book?

In summer and at weekends we recommend it, especially for the terrace. Book online in a minute or call +34 971 863 685.

What are the opening hours?

Tuesday to Sunday from 12:00 to 23:30, kitchen open all day. Closed on Mondays. The season runs from March to October.

Is there a terrace?

Yes, three spacious outdoor terraces on Avinguda Joan Miró to enjoy the Mediterranean air, plus an air-conditioned dining room for the hottest days.

Are there gluten-free and vegetarian options?

Yes. Toasts, sandwiches, pizzas and aioli bread have a gluten-free option (+€3.50) and we serve gluten-free beer. Vegetarian: vegetable paella, veggie burger, poke bowl, salads and pizzas.

How do I get there from Palma?

We are about five kilometres from the centre, at Avinguda Joan Miró 273 (Cala Major), two minutes on foot from the beach. Tap “Get directions” to open the route in Google Maps.

Are the paellas for one person?

Paellas are made for a minimum of two people (price for two) and each extra person adds €20.
